There is no one cost that fits all when it comes to drone insurance, as it is continually everchanging, however, a good rule of thumb is 10-15% of what the drone is purchased for. For example, if you buy a drone for $25,000, you can expect a premium to range in price from $2,500 - $3,750/year. This is simply a ballpark cost and depending on your situation it could cost less or it could cost more.
That is a loaded question. This is simply dependent on what you are doing. Depending on your application and use of your drone, you might want full coverage similar to car insurance, or perhaps you maybe want liability only.
